Terms & conditions
These Terms are Hallmark Labels terms and conditions on which we supply services to you and form the basis of our contract with you. Please ensure that you read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. By asking us to produce your order, we are entitled to assume that you have read these Terms.
No goods are supplied on a sales or return basis. There shall be no liability on the company to accept returned goods.
Matching Specified Colours
As there is a wide variety of substrates and printing techniques, it is often impossible to print to an exact match of pantone colours, therefore our closest commercial match will be supplied. Colours on proof and artwork supplied are for guidance only and may not be an accurate indication of final print.
We also work to within certain cutting tolerances +/- 0.5mm to 1.00mm. We cannot guarantee therefore to achieve the exact size or precise centralisation of the design of the product. If the design is close to the edge of the product, this tolerance is more noticeable and recommend to allow as much plain space from edges to design.
White or light colour base woven labels will not be optic white due to the interference of the design colours.
Under-make and Over-make
Up to 2000 20%, 2001 – 5000 15%, 5001 and over 10% under-make or over-make can be supplied and you will be invoiced for the delivered quantity. Hallmark will be under no obligation to make up and produce any under-make quantities. When ordering, we recommend that you add on a percentage over the required amount. If you have already paid proforma a new invoice for any over make or refund due to under make must be discussed before despatch.
Checking Before Use
We will not be held responsible for any errors found on artwork after printing. As stated on our delivery notes and invoices, it is your responsibility to check the products prior to use. If there is an error on the product, and it has been applied to the product, we will not accept any consequential costs of losses such as relabelling etc. If on the rare occasion a mistake occurs, we will reprint the products at our cost and deliver to an address in the UK. Any overseas carriage costs will be your responsibility as products should be checked before despatch from your offices.
Due to limited available options on adhesive, it is your responsibility to ensure that the adhesive is fit for purpose, and we can provide a sample for you to check prior to placing your order.
Mailing Bags/Retail Bags/Plastic Bags
Please note specs can appear on solid areas of print on all bags but especially on recycled fibres. Every effort is made to minimise, but we cannot entertain rejection for this reason. Lines can sometimes appear down the sides which is caused by the sealing process and even though this is rare there is no guarantee lines will not appear.
