Saving the planet, one label at a time

If we want to get greenhouse emissions under control and start reversing the effects our industrial revolution has had on the planet in the last couple of centuries, then individuals and businesses alike need to assess their consumption habits and find ways to produce less waste. This doesn’t just mean gobbling up less resources – it also means making sure that the products and materials we do invest in are sustainably sourced and can be recycled or reused further down the line.

We’re doing our bit

At Hallmark Labels, we have been flying the flag for eco-friendlier label products and production processes for many years. We are proud to offer a range of environmentally friendly solutions to support green-thinking designers, manufacturers and retailers who are committed to being the change they want to see in the world.

From sustainably sourced corrugated boxeseco-friendly mailing bags and organic cotton labels to woven labels made from recycled yarns and washcare labels containing instructions on how to look after garments and extend their wear, we have integrated a huge variety of eco-conscious products and approaches into our business to benefit both our clients themselves and their own network of customers. We promote recyclable, biodegradable and sustainably sourced items wherever possible – in fact, most of our labelling and merchandising solutions are now offered with eco alternatives – and we are happy to conduct client meetings online to save them travelling via car or public transport to our offices in Loughton.

What’s more, all our products are certified to Oeko-Tex® standards. This means that all our labels and textiles have been tested for harmful substances and poses no threat to human health. Learn more about the Oeko-Tex® accreditation process here

Big corporates, listen up: we have been fully audited for your peace of mind

We appreciate that, before they can partner with us, many of our larger retail clients need to make sure we are practising what we preach. Our processes have been fully audited to give extra assurance that we are following sustainable practices wherever we can and are continually reviewing our operations to make sure they remain in line with the latest guidance. If you’d like to learn more, you can request more information on our audit results from a member of our team.

All our products are certified to Oeko-Tex® standards, too. This means that all our labels and textiles have been tested for harmful substances and poses no threat to human health. Learn more about the Oeko-Tex® accreditation process here
